A fire continues to rage at an industrial area in Surrey Friday.
The fire is burning on a barge in the Bridgeview neighbourhood, near Musqueam Drive and 116th Street, near the Pattullo Bridge.
Plumes of black smoke could be seen across Metro Vancouver due to the scrap metal burning on the barge.
The smoke has now turned mostly white as crews get the upper hand.

The fire is affecting traffic in the area.
There are also reports of a few small explosions as well.
Residents across Metro Vancouver say they can smell smoke Friday morning and there’s a strong smell of rubber in the air.
Metro Vancouver is warning residents if they encounter smoke to seek shelter inside, close windows and doors and reduce indoor pollution sources.
